Hedge cutting

Hedge cutting, hedge trimming and hedge reductions are services we offer. We will provide you with a fixed price quote so that you know exactly what to expect and we can remove all foliage if required. Along with our quote, we will advise you about the ideal time for your hedge to be trimmed to avoid damage to the plant or its wildlife.

We know that your hedge is probably an important feature to your garden: it may provide an attractive boundary, colour to your garden, privacy, shade, be your natural windbreak or be an ideal place for wildlife to survive. In whatever way you use and enjoy your hedge, we will treat it respectfully and accordingly.

Hedges are important to maintain carefully so that they don’t get out of hand. We will offer you advice dependent on your hedge, for example: hedges such as privet, lonicera, hawthorn and beach require 3-4 cuts per year while other, slow growing varieties, such as yew and leylandii, require 1 or 2 cuts per year.
Our gardners qualified and insured to “Work at Height” and our ladders allow us to do this up to around 12-feet, which is more than enough for most hedges.
